A summer celebration of gardening

Over fifty stalls in the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall selling plants and all things gardening. There are talks throughout the weekend on a wide variety of gardening topics.

Entrance is £3.50 for adults, £3.25 for senior citizens and £1.50 for children over 5.

AUGUST

Burton Agnes Jazz Festival

8th - 10th August

Live jazz, picnics and family fun in the Hall and gardens

Come and relax to the sounds of summery music in the beautiful settings of Burton Agnes Hall. The festival will run from 6pm until 11pm on Friday, 11am until 11pm on Saturday and 11am until 5pm on Sunday. This is a ticketed event and numbers are limited so book ahead to avoid disappointment. Tickets vary from £15 to £30 and will be on sale from May 2008. More..

Christmas Opening

Beautiful decorations in the Hall and festive jollity in the courtyard

The Cunliffe-Lister family gather natural products form their award winning gardens and estate to create stunning, original deocratons for the Hall. A huge Christmas tree from the estate's forests dominates the Great Hall. Original Elizabethan and Jacobean quarters are decorated in traditional style whilst the extraordinary Long Gallery has a contemporary Christmas mood to complement its collection of modern and impressionist art.

In our courtyard, the Gift Shop and Flower Room have exciting and unusual Christmas presents and decorations. The Farmer's Food Store sells delicous seasonal specialities and hampers, while our cafe is serves a seasonal menu.

The hall and grounds will be open daily, 11am-5pm, from Friday the 14th of November until Sunday the 21st December. There will be a late opening on Friday 19th December until 7:30pm with mulled wine in the courtyard.

Entrance is £6.00 for adults, £5.50 for senior citizens and £3.00 for children over 5.
